Peel Session: Magoo (2004)

Ello folks. Hope you've all had a nice bank holiday weekend, whether you've been to Reading/Leeds, done other musical gubbins or just relaxed. My personal highlight was watching jousting at Anne Boleyn's house to a soundtrack of Enya and Carl Orff. Stick that up your ass festival fans! I also managed to pick up a mint vinyl copy of The Boss's Nebraska on 12" and the 12" JAMC Some Candy Talking EP for 25p each. God bless the British people and the tradition that is the car boot sale. Anyway to ease you back in I thought i'd upload the ninth and final Peel session (of a total of nine; impressive!) from long-toiling British indie-rock band Magoo. And quite lovely it is, featuring three originals and a reaaally nice Guided By Voices cover (Chicken Blows for the unenlightened). Hope the return to work isn't too awful. Until tomorrow, enjoy!
