Records Out Tomorrow (Monday 19th September)

New feature starting today is a weekly update of what new records are coming out on the monday to come. Obviously they're all UK release dates, and i've ignored the obviously horrendous ones because i'd like to think that people reading this might have some slight idea of taste.

Not a hugely exciting week, the new Devendra is obviously the biggy, plus the new Broadcast. First new Bunnymen record for four years also out tomorrow, as is a new Nada Surf record, which i've not heard but will probably at least be better than the last Weezer album. Some nice reissues also out this week, including another great Eno remaster, a live track for track performance of Aqualung from 'tut' Tull, Essential comps of Duke Ellington and Dolly, plus some rather expensive but lovely Ray and Janis box sets.

Oh and of course there's the much talked about Gang Of Four double set, one disc of re-recorded songs and one of remixes by inspired bands. Seems a bit of a cash-in to me, and i'm not quite sure i'd really want to hear TWO remixes by The Others. I thought they'd been dropped by now? Surely the extra 30,000 copies of the album they needed to sell haven't actually been sold?

The only really great interesting single this week is the Franz one (mostly because Amazon don't have the Fall single available), which to be honest i'm not too sure about. Links below go to amazon.co.uk.
