We are One

Hi all. Today is the 1st anniversary of The Runout Groove. Hasn't seemed that long, but time flies when you're trying to do a masters degree, work a part time job, have a social life, not ignore the girlfriend AND keep a blog updated. Not that i'm complaining. In the first year i've looked at:

A House, The Adult Net, The Almighty, America, American Music Club, The Arcade Fire, The Afghan Whigs, Arab Strap, The Auteurs, Bonnie Prince Billy, William S. Burroughs, Cats UK, Nick Cave, Cay, Cerebral Fix, The Clash, The Constantines, Sam Cooke, Elvis Costello, The Crocketts, Cuban Boys, The Cult, The Cure, Dark Star, Groop Dogdrill, Bob Dylan, Steve Earle, Egghunt, Faith No More, The Fall, Fanzine, Karel Fialka, Gang Of Four, The Go-Betweens, The Godfathers, Greenship, Guided By Voices, Richie Havens, Head Of David, Hefner, Hothouse Flowers, Husker Du, Icicle Works, Idlewild, Inimenter, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Junk, Kerbdog, Killdozer, Leatherface, Jens Lekman, Lift, Llama Farmers, Magazine, Manic Street Preachers, Mansun, Marion, Mccarthy, Mega City Four, The Membranes, Mew, Midget, The Mighty Lemon Drops, Morrissey, Mudhoney, My Life Story, Ooberman, Jon Pertwee, The Posies, The Perfect Disaster, Pulp, Pussy Galore, Q Lazarus, The Ramones, Sebadoh, Hubert Selby Jr., Serum, The Shop Assistants, Smashing Pumpkins, Sona Fariq, Sparks, The Specials, Spy VS Spy, Stony Sleep, Straw, Suede, Symposium, Teenage Fanclub, Ultrasound, Martha Wainwright, Rufus Wainwright, Tom Waits, The Wedding Present, Paul Westerberg, Whiskeytown, The Wildhearts, Wilt, The Woodentops, The Yo-Yo's, Neil Young

I hope you've liked some of it, and if not then i'm always open to suggestions. Already a bunch of people have sent me stuff to put up, so thanks very much to them, because if other people can find things for me then it just makes things a tiny bit easier on my overworked mind. I'd like to thank all the returning visitors who give me the motivation to keep updating, plus all the people who have commented on posts, linked from their blogs to mine, emailed me with suggestions, and anyone else who's inspired/helped me in anyway. Here's to another year, thanks everybody!

Make sure to check back later for the next post in my Pulp discography, which this time contains four of my favourite songs ever in the shape of the Sisters EP.
