The other day in the post I recieved a rather nifty demo from Cardiff's Yossarian. A four piece formed in autumn 2003, like fellow Cardiffians Los Campesinos, the band formed at the university (all being born elsewhere) and have been gigging now for about a year and a half. The product of a no doubt hilarious Monkees style shared house, they've got a great contemporary sound and are well worth a listen. Their demo also had good artwork, which always makes one more likely to listen, and makes you feel all special and wanted.
