I Like Pop! You Like Pop! We Like Pop!
Two wonderful rock pop treats for you today.
First up is the first track that has leaked from the forthcoming new Lemonheads record (the first in ten years!), which will be self titled and will be released on Vagrant on the 26th September. Sounds lovely to me. The production reminds me of their classic Lovey album, and its as catchy and fun as any of the old stuff.
As an added extra bonus here's a track from Ohio's favourite sons, and the band with which i'm currently undergoing something of a full-fledged obsession, the much missed Guided By Voices. This is a live version of Everywhere With Helicopter from 2002's Universal Truths And Cycles album. ROCK AND ROLL.
