New Records for 27th March - 2nd April

Not a huge week for new albums this time, but what is coming out is definitely worth checking out. The new Mono is really nice, and although it's not as good as the first album, the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs is pretty decent too. Reissues wise, as all the papers have been saying the Eno/Byrne collaboration is incredible, and probably the best thing out this week. For all you interesting packaging fetishists all of the Stones albums have been released on vinyl replica editions which look pantwettingly nice. As for singles you need to go buy that new Morrissey and also a reissue of one of the greatest songs of all time from The Walker Brothers.

Albums:

Be Your Own Pet - Be Your Own Pet
Mono - You Are There
Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Show Your Bones

Reissues & Compilations:

Eno/Byrne - My Life In the Bush Of Ghosts
Ronnie Hawkins - The Hawk
Massive Attack - Collected
Rolling Stones Japanese Vinyl Replica Editions

Singles:

Arthur Baker feat Tim Wheeler - Glow
Clearlake - Neon
Editors - All Sparks
Franz Ferdinand - The Fallen
Guillemots - We're Here
Morrissey - You Have Killed Me
The Pipettes - Your Kisses Are Wasted On Me
Prince - Black Sweat
Walker Brothers - The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore

The Clearlake album (Amber) is really quite good but the single is a bit of weird choice. Not the best on there.

The Morrissey single is great though.
