MP3: The Icarus Line - Peel Session 2002
My second Peel Session for today is from The Icarus Line. This was the bands second session for John, and was recorded on the 19th June 2002 and broadcast on the 24th July of the same year. Three of the songs would go on to feature on 2004's Penance Soiree record, and the fourth, Miss Bliss has yet to be featured on an album (though this session track was used as a bside on the Love Is Happiness single).
The Icarus Line's new album, Black Lives At The Golden Coast is set to be released soon and you can hear samples over at their myspace. Enjoy.

the icarus line is an obnoxious band. i had the unfortunate experience of witnessing their awful music when the opened up for a perfect circle.
