MP3: The Thermals - Peel Session 2004

Alright then i've got a few Peel sessions for you again today. Later on i'll be uploading another session from Mercury Rev, but for now here's a little something from The Thermals.

Hailing from Portland, Oregon, The Thermals are signed to Sub Pop and are about to release their third full length, The Body, The Blood, The Machine. Definitely one of the best bands on the Sub Pop label in the last few years, they're highly recommended to fans of Guided By Voices, which really, should be everyone.

This was the only session the band did for Peel, recorded on the 11th December 2003 and broadcast on the 28th January 2004. It's Trivia is taken from their 2004 debut More Parts Per Million. A Stare Like Yours and Forward are from its followup, 2004's Fuckin' A. As far as I can tell the fourth track, Doe, is as yet unreleased. Hope you like the songs, and make sure you check back later for some Mercury Rev!

The Thermals - 01 It's Trivia (Peel Session)
The Thermals - 02 A Stare Like Yours (Peel Session)
The Thermals - 03 Forward (Peel Session)
The Thermals - 04 Doe (Peel Session)

Hey I know you haven't used this blog in forever but is there any chance you still have Doe? The version I have is low quality.
