MP3: Rory McVicar

Here we go then! The dissertation is practically done, the packing is going well and so i've got a few minutes to give you some songs.

Last week I was sent the demo of a singer/songwriter from Norwich called Rory McVicar. Now some of the demos I get sent are rather poor, so it was very very nice to get one of such obvious quality. Rory has already had some radio play from Huw Stephens and Rob Da Bank, and from the sound of his demos its only a matter of time before there's a whole lot more interest. As for his sound, think Buckley/Drake/Sparklehorse.

He's got a single out on NROne records, which you can get here, and there's also a song on a split single on Howlback Hum.

So! To get in there before other people do, here are a couple of songs for you to download. Other than these, you can get four more songs, all of which are also very very good, from Rory's myspazz.

Rory McVicar - Without Thinking
Rory McVicar - Pretend Song
