New Artist Alert: Manic

Manic are a four piece indie rock band from LA, who create a lovely post-Radiohead mixture of lush, almost shoegazing layered guitar sound along with an Interpolish knack for melody. They recently signed to Suretone, the new label of ex-Geffen head Jordan Schur, with whom they've turned their first demo into the rather good Floorboards EP. In five tracks it displays a lot of potential, some of which can be heard in the track i've put up below.
